On Tuesday, I wrote about change and the balancing act of change that brings advantages with the pain and disruption that change can cause. I further contemplated the speed of which the hotel industry adopts technologies that other industries have proven drive value. This morning, I read a story that shows how implementing RFID door lock systems and integrating guest mobile phone technology can have a big impact on hotel operations, security, cost savings and guest convenience.
